2013 Healthy Eating Calendar at-a-glance
Smart Snacking Seminar: Looking for a 3 o'clock fix? How about a post-workout energy boost? Join a Registered Dietitian to get tips and healthy snack ideas that will get you through any craving. The seminar is 30 minutes long with an optional 15 minute Q&A session afterwards. Light snacks will be provided.

Mindful Eating for the Mindleess Eater: Ever eat a whole bag of chips when you’re not even hungry? If so, count yourself among the millions who are victims of mindless eating. Join us as Registered Dietitian talks about how you can turn mindless eating into mindlessly eating better -- and maybe even lose weight loss- simply by making little changes such as eating off smaller plates. Light snacks will be provided.

Cooking Demonstration: This cooking demo is just for City of Columbus employees! The Head Chef will prepare several tasty gluten-free samples while a Registered Dietitian discusses the health benefits cooking at home. Family members may register if the class is not full.

Grocery Store Tour: This tour is just for City of Columbus employees! Explore the Giant Eagle Market District store with their Registered Dietitian and learn to how to fill your cart with healthy foods without breaking the bank! Family members may register if the class is not full.
